I suppose you could have spent several thousand hours in the Crucible to get items, but that would be a ridiculous investment, just to avoid replaying the campaign. Guided Hacking teaches you how to MAKE cheats. Crucible and SR don't have the level limit allowing you to keep getting XP, but even then you'd need to cheat with GD Stash to get the items for it since the best high level items won't drop in Normal, and are rare even in Elite. This means that you cannot reach level 100 (or even 94 which is as high as most items go) until Ultimate if you're only playing the campaign.

The game has a level cap for monsters and stops giving you experience once you're ~10 levels above enemies. Unless you've dedicated some serious time in either the Crucible or SR (or done an absurd number of Bounties), there is absolutely no way to "finish" a character build in Normal/Veteran. Replaying on other 2 will give you nothing, since character build will be already finished. Originally posted by LotusBlade.there is pretty much nothing to do in Grim Dawn after you beat normal difficulty once. Still Grim Dawn is among most interesting hack and slash games. And final encounter with nemesis bosses is dissapointing, since reward are meh. i don't want to have to use a load of mules so i went looking for a program to help. i wanted to deal with item management before it gets to be an issue. By the time you reach lvl 35 to get first reputation gear, you will already have solid build. just picked up forgotten gods and have the time to sink so i can get really invested. It has kind-a bad crafting (mostly useless) and rewards for upgrading reputation are slim. The choises of factions and dialogues are not gonna change anything. You can't witness story from different angle (like in Mage Knight Apocalypse). You do not unlock something new (like in Titan Quest). Game has no paragon system to get extra exp after you reach max lvl (like in Diablo 3). There are also "rifts", which are funny for a few hours, but without 'seasons' like in Path of Exile, playing them is mostly the same as crucible. There is Crucible, some sort of tower-defense arena mode, but it is very boring, since enemies are the same every time. I have played majority hack and slash games, there is pretty much nothing to do in Grim Dawn after you beat normal difficulty once. There is no late game and almost no mid-game (trolling aside).
